Specifications

To assist you in providing the correct artwork please find a list of files we accept below.

PHOTOSHOP: save as TIFF, EPS, JPEG or PDF.

ILLUSTRATOR: save as EPS or PDF. Include all embedded images & convert all text to outline.

QUARKXPRESS: save as PDF or QXD. (Supply all images and fonts)

INDESIGN: save as.EPS or PDF & convert all text to outline.

FONTS: all vector screen fonts & PostScript fonts need to be supplied unless converted to outline.

RESOLUTION: when supplying images, ensure that they are created at 300dpi.

BLEED: (TRIM) & CUTTING: all files need a 2mm bleed for cutting. If files are supplied without any bleed they will be given a border so they can be cut correctly. For printing to be finished correctly, please ensure that any text or logos are at least 4mm form the edge.

COLOUR: all files to be supplied in CMYK colour format, unless using pantones.If files are supplied in RGB we cannot guarantee colours will print the same.

Below you can find a series of templates for use in any graphics package or PDF creator, to help you with creating your designs at the right size and with the right bleed.

Delivery

You can collect from either our Brighton shop or Hove factory. Local deliveries to the Brighton & Hove area are￡2. All other deliveries outside Brighton & Hove are carried out by a courier company.

Please see the table below as a guideline for our courier costs. You may not see the product you require featured so please enquire for a quote on any alternatives.

Prices are for week day delivery next day before 6pm. If you require an alternative time or a Saturday delivery please enquire for prices.

Please note courier jobs will add an extra day to the lead time.

Next Day and Same Day Turnaround

We can offer a Next Day Turnaround on most of our digitally printed jobs.

We can also offer Next Day Turnaround on some litho printed jobs for an additional charge of £45.

We can offer Same Day Turnaround on most digitally printed jobs for an additional charge. Price on request.

Please contact us to see if what you require falls into this bracket. Artwork must be supplied before 12pm for the order to be ready for collection from our factory or shop the following day/same day. If a courier is required please allow an additional day for delivery.

How to order

You can order through our Hove or Brighton premises or via email on the contact page.

Just attach your artwork with the job information and we'll send a confirmation back to you. If any further information is required or if there is any problems with your artwork we will contact you. If you require our design services please email: artwork@4printanddesign.co.uk

We take full payment before sending the job to print which can be done over the phone with a credit or debit card. We don't keep any personnel details or information on record.
